I am looking at a fishfinder/gsp combo. It is confusing, any suggestion?

I have between $400-$500 ti spend. I have looked at humminbird, Lorance. I fish fresh water only, and I am looking for performance, more on fish than location on gps. thanks

I lean toward Hummingbird myself. Mainly because for the price the quality is good. Lorance has been around many years also, but they tend to import too much crap from China.
